Area Group News
The Presbytery of Gordon follwing insrtuction from the Genearl Assembly of our Church had to prepare a Plan where it saw each congregation in the Presbytery in ten years time (2016) and in producing the plan believed that congegatiosn should work in Area Groups. Our area group comprises the congregations of Cluny, Cushnie & Tough, Howe Trinity, Kemnay and Upper Donside. Items of news about the Area Group will be posted here occasionally.
SUNDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER 2010 . This is a day when we shall join with the congregations of our Area Group and worship together outdors at Strathdon glebe finishing with a picnic. Lifts will be arranged to share transport ad it is hoped a good turn oput from Monymusk will show our support for the area group. There shall be no worship in Monymusk that day.
The Kirk Session appointed three representatives to work as a link people with the other congregations in the Area group. The Minister Louise Craigmyle and Dot Gray were appointed and they can be contacted at any time with regard to your view on Area Groups.
On 16th March 2009 the first of a series of meetings of the link people from each congregation was held in Howe Trinity Church and progress was begun on what it emans to work as an Area Group.
